Things move along really nicely! A galore of new mushroom faces and supporting cast!
And the Iron Wind Witch with her henchman I feel it to be a big hit!

I am not setting The World on fire, but I am enjoying the way things are progressing.
When I saw the Witch, I knew I had to try painting her. I also got a Fairy Dragon from Iron Wind/Ral Partha.
Thanks for the reply, Dinos. I am happy you like the stuff.

It is a very fine sculpt and I'm sure you'll do your best to bring out her beauty! Cheers!

One of the Fellows on the Reaper Forum did up this Ral Partha/Iron Wind Witch. She was irresistible.
SO I picked one up & added a Pumpkinhead kit-bash as a henchman:

Absolutely a great atmospheric sculpt. very much in line with the rest of the project. Can't wait to see her finished off!
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

The Girl has a lot of personality to her. Thanks for the reply, Argonor.

Witchiepoo and Pumpkinhead will look great together! Can't wait to see what your brush does with them!

Latest mushrooms are nice, too!

I have a thing about Witches. I got to meet a fair number of Wicca ladies when I briefly had a little shop. They were all charming girls.
I have high hopes for the latest Witch & Friend. Thanks for the kind reply, Mister Frau Blucher.

It's probably the cross eyes along with a certain silliness to their expressions.
Be that as it may, thanks for the reply, Paul. I am happy you like them.

They also used that witch for Mage Knight as well.. one of the many Ral Partha licensed sculpts they put out.

We'll see how she does with the joker-mushrooms!

The one on the Reaper Forum was the first I had seen. There was a time when I was pretty familiar with what Ral Partha made.

Say Al, have you ever considered trying any distinctly Asian mushrooms. Enochi? Or a Chanterelle/Oyster/Shiitake-type (where the cap flares out and upward and is depressed in the centre)? Or a crazy layered affair like Chicken of the Woods/Oyster beds?

Just dropped in to say I have followed this thread for years! Simply Fantastic stuff, certainly one of my favourite projects for sheer realisation and vision, your creations always bring a smile to my face  :)

To add to Frams suggestions, an Ink Cap could be very cool! they kind of 'melt' as they get older, eventually turning into an inky blob, one that has just begun to drip could look pretty interesting, some scope for some interestion expressions there!

Thanks, Fram. I am open to suggestions. Thus far my reference books are North American varieties. The Elf Cups have that inverted cap style...they were fun to do.
I can look up the Asian mushrooms on Pinterest. Chicken of the Woods sounds interesting...pun possibilities as well.

I am delighted you have enjoyed my stuff, EskeiraSees. I will try to maintain you interest,
The Ink Caps sound like just the thing to try...especially the dripping part.
