What I like most is that Mag is gathering critical mass to start ROLLING!

...a MEGA Mags...RUN!
Thanks for the reply, Dinos. I have a pair of Dark Sword anthropomorphic critters to add to Mags' Mob, but that should be it.

This may well be the Year of the Goblin for me. Friday I was marauding my way through The Vault & came upon a box of Goblins of various kinds & some Ogres converted after a fashion & based. They had some potential. SO I figured the would do nicely for a start.
The first one was a beat up old Dragon Rune Goblin Shaman. He got a new staff & base:

His base got some mushrooms & moss, AND I started rebasing a group of Night Goblin converted pikes, Heroes along with the crew of an OLD G.W. organ gun. They all got some extended shoe treatment along with some rope belts where needed:

Away we go!

Thanks for the kind reply, Dinos. It always seems to get back to the Goblins. The perennial underdogs have a permanent place in my heart.
With life returning to The World, the Spring seems like the proper time for a year to start. We will see how this goes from here.

The Lads now have their mushrooms added & their base coats painted on. They are ready for some color:

The Organ Gun...G.W. had some clever name for the Beasty that I can't recall:

...a mold line to be removed I spy with my beady eye:

The Gun & the rear Gunner are not attached yet for ease of painting:

Fearless Leader, Champion, & Flunky:

The Pikes (I thought that Goblins would be fond of pikes; re, it allows them to get up close & personal from somewhat further away):

Rear Rank:

Front Rank:

AND The Shaman & Wolf:

More pics as things progress...I suppose.

They are coming out great!
Could you please tell what color you use for undercoat and highlights?

Thanks, Dinos...glad you like them thus far. I do a white dry brush over a black wash base coat.

The Shaman & his Wolf got some base work done AND there is another Dragon Rune's Wolf Loony in progress...the Shaman is denying any association:

This months free Bones Black miniature from Reaper 44004 Surkar, Orc Shaman is getting the Goblin Mushroom treatment:

I thinks he would enjoy the company of the Pathfinder style Goblins.

Those little additions fit perfectly - and so does he!

Thanks, Fram. I am glad you like my modifications. I doubt that I could do a straight mini without a touch or two of my own anymore.

Things are slowly coming along:

This Merry Little Fellow is the prototype for the pikes:

The Mushroom is done & the Shaman is coming along:

The base for the Shaman will get started tonight or tomorrow.

My wife commented that the Little Brown Mushrooms (as seen on the shaman's shoulder) are traditionally either the tastiest or the deadliest, and not knowing the small differences which distinguish various species of "LBMs" is obviously quite dangerous!

From what little I have picked up in checking out different mushrooms for modeling, sampling wild mushrooms is an incredibly dangerous thing to do.
If you consider that the tasty brown mushrooms growing on the Shaman's shoulder are now sporting glowing yellow spots, chances are you might have
second thoughts about giving them a try...the Shaman also discourages nibbling on his growths.
I have the base for the Shaman & friends underway...looks good so far.
