Oh yes, more than a few times I've looked at a photo I've just taken and blurted out "How did I miss THAT?!"  lol

I also started using a pair pf magnifying glasses. I have had flaws that show up in the pics that I still can't spot on the mini. They become more obvious when magnified.

Pics reveal flaws, indeed!
I remember a good friend who had made a nice conversion of a 1/72 scale pirate drinking on a bench.
I took a photo and posted it to him with the remark:
-Your pirate is sitting on a lake of glue!
This detail could not be seen easily with a naked eye, but he went mad  lol

...seeing your little character blown up several times his size can be a real shocker.

The new Merry Mushroom Supporting Cast:

Off to one side of the Mushroom base is a hollow sporting a largish eyeball that refuses to be photographed.

These eyeballs are like octopuses, hiding well, you must put some bait to get them out  lol
Ok, I saw the cavity, but, indeed the eye refused to appear.

Once it is painted, I think it will be easier to get a photo. It does give an eerie touch to the piece & rewards the viewer for a careful look.

Love that classic troll you dug up. He fits in quite well with the rest even without the mushrooms.
