Great mushrooms!

Thanks, Rick W.. I am glad you like them; re, Mushrooms have become my thing.

Here one can see how these humble pieces of foamboard are transformed to the wonderful Blight! Great!
Thanks for showing your W.I.P.!

Thanks for the reply, Dinos. These are more two dimensional than the other Blight pieces, but the methods are the same.
I think they will be interesting backdrop pieces.

Love seeing new blight. You're going to have to do a street scene soon!

Thanks, Fram. I am glad you like it.
Urban scenes are what I was planning on, A sewer photo stage would be cool as well.

I made some progress on the Blight Stage:

The white on black should give you & me a better idea where this is going.

White on black gives them the homogeneity needed for the continuation.
The stellar observatory is great! How did you make it?

The base coat, in addition to making it easier to  see & paint, make using various quick adhere glues possible.
The Observatory is a plastic dome & base that used to contain some vending machine novelty. The telescope is plastic tubing. I added some watch parts for a steam punk effect. I will probably be doing another sometime soon. I will do step by step pics when I do.

A steam punk construction for sure! It is always nice when you provide your W.I.P.s!

Glad to see a return to your urban setting! Not that I was tired of shrooming, but it is good to have a change of pace. I really like where you are going with the Blight photo stage. Your creativity and re-purposing (like the vending machine trinket container) are really inspiring. Can't wait to see the forthcoming colors! I am guessing, by the black and white priming, they will be a bit more subdued than your more recent painting!

Looks great already! Let's see what color composition you come up with this time!

Thanks for the reply, Mister Frau Blucher. Thus far I have been enjoying the Blight build. It is satisfyingly messy.
The painting will probably just slightly less bright than the Faerie Folk lands. Subdued isn't something I am capable of.
I do the white on black base coat for everything.

Thanks, scatterbrains! Today I hope to do the roof tiles, &, perhaps, start on the doors & windows.

The roofs are now tiled. The tiling is tedious, messy, & one of those things that is only fun when it is over:

AND now that part is done...OH BABY!

I am so happy to see the new buildings being constructed step by step, consistent with the other already done in style and... craziness! ;D
Love them!  :-*

Thanks for the reply, Dinos. The buildings progress slowly enough that it seems like a step by step...well actually it is if unintentional.
I am happy you are enjoying the process.

Cool, I misunderstood something you said and assumed you might be doing something akin to the Grayscale Caverns. Must have been the rum. Glad you are staying in Living Color.

I'm with DintheDin, enjoying seeing these buildings from pieces of foam to sinister dwelling!
