Folk art or not, it is of high originality and I'm eager to see it finished! Cheers!

It is getting there. The next Faces will be more ambitious.

Despite all the chaos whirling around my head, I have another new Mushroom ready to base.
The first photo showed up some dental problems that I corrected for the other pics:

There you go!

Oooh, I like the caps on these ones. Lovely shape, wonderfully painted.

I like the caps too!
For some reason, this guy's teeth remind me of the Devil of Tasmania cartoon  :)

Thanks, Fram. I am happy you like him/them. The cap got an assist from something I saw on Pinterest...the stem, less so.

...now that you mention it, there is a Tasmanian look to the Lads.
Thanks for the reply, Dinos. I am glad you like him/them. I think they will be fun to base up.

Fantastic, as always! I love this thread, always enjoy scrolling through and seeing something I missed! (When I'm meant to be working or cleaning or painting of course!  :D )

I might even be tempted to try having ago at making some bigger mushrooms myself, not that I'm a fan of sculpting, never took to it well!

Later the same day, I got six rather large mushroom base coated & ready for some color.
The Lads are seen here with an Efreeti for size comparison:

AND a few closeups/angle shots:

Have a pleasant evening!

Nice! Good colors on the last batch.

As for the new batch - that picture almost looks like a seedy fungal lineup in a black-and-white movie. Be interesting to see how they color up!

Thanks for the reply, Mister Frau Blucher. I am happy you like the stuff.
I normally base my things & then paint, but I am undecided as to where I am going with the bases. SO I will be painting then basing these Fellows...when I decide on colors that is.
