Your rhino is awesome, Al, and what a towering beast compared to the Fenris one  :o
Also love that hippo inspiration pic, hope to see your version of that pretty soon as well ;)

If you actually need some Mushrooms, I have been sending them all over the place.

I'm always in need of good shrooms, but alas, I am broke at the moment. :)

I am glad you like him, Tobias. Thanks for the reply.
He really is a Big Fellow, much larger than a 28mm scale miniature should be.
I went browsing through parts of the Safari Ltd listing. They have quite a selection on critters, including a nice looking Hippo & a differently posed rhino...the Mushrooms are getting paranoid.

I'm always in need of good shrooms, but alas, I am broke at the moment. :)

That wouldn't be a problem; re, I have never gotten cash payment for any of the Mushrooms I have sent Folks...they are gifts.
It would, however, cost you your address...God only knows what will show up at your doorstep then.

Nice rhino! I like that it has faces sculpted on it. I didn't notice them at first.

A self-portrait of the creator perhaps?  :)

Thanks for the reply, Blasphemia. I have a thing about faces popping up in all sorts of outlandish places. I am happy you like it.

Thus far I haven't seen myself in anything I've sculpted. I might have quit if I did.
Thanks for the reply, Dinos.

I totally missed the face at first glance. That little detail is brilliant!

You never cease to amaze!

Great Rhino  :)

Any plans/insperation for other large animals?

Some things that are missed are because they are unexpected. The faces fit in that category. Discovering them later adds to the fun of the piece, or, at least, that is my take on the thing.

Thanks, Tactavanic. I am glad you enjoy the stuff.
Thus far I haven't thought of doing any of the larger critters yet, but, once The Rhino is done, that will probably change.
The Rhino got some green stuff touch ups & three Reaper Vultures yesterday...yesterday was a draggy sort of day.

SO The Rhino's base is painted & his flesh tone applied. I did some green stuff touch up & added three Reaper 03797 Vultures in lieu of the Tickbird:

A better look at his face:

As I am plodding along with The Big Guy, I have a few other thing on the back burners.
