Progress has been halting at best; a vicious combination of annoying chores & a case of the blahs did their thing.
I did start on the painting though. One side has the base colors:

The other gives a hint as to where this is going:

More later perhaps.

Blue and gold is a classic combination, so you're off to a good start at ennobling your Rhino. Now all he needs is a mad king to reward him with a Baronetcy for service on campaign... ;D

Blue and gold is a royal color combination, indeed! Eager to see the final color scheme, and how this will be combined with the faces!

The blue & gold is a favorite combination. There is a red heart shaped breast plate surrounded in gold up front.
I am glad you like him thus far, Fram. Thanks for the reply.

Thanks, Dinos. I am looking forward to the finished piece as well. The faces are still being pondered...impromptu is the normal thing.

Thank you for your kind reply, Mister Frau Blucher. I am delighted you have enjoyed my stuff. I will try to keep it coming.
As I plod along with The Rhino, I have started on a new batch of Mushrooms, a bunch of minis, AND I intend to start on the photo stage & Tavern Tree again.
Keeping busy & being happy seem to go together for me.

That rhino looks to be the basis of an extraordinary psychedelic safari! Great work - I love the faces in his (her?) armour-plating.

...I figure he is a Guy; re, with the lengthening of his snout horns, he is hornier than Lulu, the last Rhino I had made.
Thanks for the reply, Hobgoblin...the morale boost is appreciated.
That reminds me: I have really been enjoying checking out your thread as well.

As I plod along with The Rhino, there seems to be a new batch of Mushrooms growing in The Box:

I see some new different forms, and as expected, they'll get some different faces!
I'm always curious how these mushrooms manage to grow in the box  :-*
Some magic nutrients must be hidden in its soil  ;)

There will be some new ideas tried...probably.
They just spring full grown from my imagination. Considering what they normally grow in, that speaks volumes for the contents of my mind.
