Haha!
The last pic looks like as if the whole group of these little rascals is dancing and singing to you with one voice:
-Paint us! Paint us!
And this is what you'll do!
Eager to see them in color! Cheers!

They do look like the Munchkin Choir. Thanks for the reply, Dinos. I am looking forward to the painting as well.

The last few days were largely spent dealing with cruel reality. I did manage to get all the MUshrooms & the supporting cast done up in white over black, These are the last of them:

AND The Gang altogether in The Box:

Given the opportunity, some of the Fellows may get painted &, possibly, based.

Although I have said it again, I admire how many different expressions you give to your faces!
I know the face has about four dozens of muscles, but after looking at your work, I think it might have more  lol

Thanks Dinos. I am happy you enjoy the variety of expressions. They aren't really planned; they just happen.
Since I depend to a greater or lesser degree on reading lips, I watch the flow of expressions that folk go through when telling a story.
Some are so facially eloquent that they would have done well in silent films.

The last few days were largely spent dealing with cruel reality.

Not TOO cruel, I hope...

In any case, I'm sure reality usually comes up short when measured against the rather compelling world your mushrooms inhabit.

...Cap'n John had a good dose of something disagreeable. I just had to drive him to various doctor, tests, & such.
Reality & I went our separate ways years ago...we deny each other's existence.
Thanks for the reply, Fram. I am glad you enjoy the stuff.

Thanks, Dinos. I am happy to say that Cap'n John will survive. He looked so horrible for awhile, I had my doubts.

Second that. The crud is never any fun to have.

...especially with the temperatures hovering around 104 F (40 C). Being sick AND sweaty is cruel reality indeed.

AND the first group of Mushrooms for The Box is done. These are, I have been told, Button Mushrooms...I'm sure that that name could be embellished upon:

Now that's an attractively sordid line-up!

Best to Cap'n John and hope he's feeling better.

I'm glad you can keep reality at bay! That's a valuable skill.
