I like their grinning faces. Terrific work.

Thanks, Tungdil. I am glad you like them. I have four more underway...did I mention I have a tendency to get carried away?

The grin on the face of the left Pumpkinhead reminds me of the Gorgoneion!

According to Greek Mythology, it was the head of Gorgo or Medusa killed by Perseus, decorating the shield of Goddess Athena.
Anyone looking at it, was petrified. Used during Antiquity as an apotropaic symbol, decorating shields, necklaces, doors etc.

Eager to see them painted with the nice pumpkin color you make!

Pumkin? Pumpkin?

Answer: Punkin

Say, have you ever tried a crackle-type paint to get the effect you sometimes see on mushrooms like fly amanita?

Thanks, Tungdil. It's not so much productivity as a lot of available time. Doing the dollies (basic shape) took about an hour or a bit more.
Once I start the green stuff, things slow down, but I can devote an entire day to the sculpting.

...ducking is always advisable.
The resemblance to the Gorgon is something that didn't occur to me, be she does look like that one. Getting stoned from mushrooms is a bit different than the Gorgons stare.
Thanks for the reply, Dinos. A post without a word from you just isn't the same.

I haven't tried crackle paint. I did do some rough spots wit green stuff though:

Lovely updates, as usual, from the Land of DeafNaColour!
 :-* :-*

I really like the new pumpkinheads and look forward to seeing them grace a (large) body or two in a future episode.

Thanks for the reply, Paul. I am glad you enjoyed the new stuff.
I have some ideas for the  Pumpkinheads II. Making on a Specter is a possibility. A fellow on the Reaper Forum posted some Secret Weapon's Field of Screams bases in my thread for me to consider. They feature Evil Jack O'Lanterns. They are quite nice & have some wonderful ideas that I may mimic on my own bases.

The Three Merry Mostels:

I have been putzing around with the Mushroom/Goblin Shaman's cap. He will most likely be the next piece done...or not.
