Lovely additions, mate.
Full of wonderful character.
 :-* :-*

Thanks, Paul. I am glad you like the new stuff. They do look better in person though.

Love that Goblin... such a great job with the trio all round.

A group shot (or group shots) of everything, would be monstrously impressive.

It would have to be several sessions if I was to include the boards. Just with the miniatures, there are several hundred pieces.
It would be a LOT of work, but I think it might be tremendous fun as well. Seeing it all together in several photos would
be well worth the effort...I think.

I add my voice to this.
Meanwhile, I would be very glad to learn how you make the shading on the armor.

The shading on the metal is a base coat of Dr Ph Martin Slate Blue Water Color, Daler Rowney Black Ink, & FolkArt Zinc (acrylic paint
similar, but slightly darker than gunmetal). Once dry, I highlight with the Zinc, then highlight the Zinc with a mix of Zinc & Silver. When
I do the gold or other metals I will give you a how-to on the colors used.

I am wrapping up the second Shrew, SO there should be more pics later today...or tomorrow.
I'd NEVER join a club that would have me as a member.  G.Marx

The second Combat Shrew is now done:

I really am enjoying doing these Dark Sword pieces...this may be a new addiction in the works.

The Lads of Mags' Minions are coming along nicely. SO I felt it would be okay to add another piece into the mix.
This is Ral Partha/Iron Wind's Fairy/Faerie Dragon with a couple of Mushroom Cronies.
As the looked on Wednesday:

Yesterday:

AND today:

I had hoped to get one of Grenadier's Oh-So-Silly Elf Dragons, but the Ral Partha is a reasonable alternative; AND silly enough to fit in with the rest of the nonsense.

I'm betting those shrews will not be tamed.

Looking forward to your color selection on the faerie dragon! I'm guessing it will be...vibrant.

...I'll name the Ginge Petruchio & let him sort it out with the Shrews. He is getting closer to completion.
Garish is a definite with the Faerie Dragon. Just what colors is anyone's guess. I have been accumulating
pictures of Faerie Dragons, but no close matches yet.
Thanks for the reply, Mister Frau Blucher.

I did up some mushrooms to fill out the Faerie Dragon's base.

AND wrapped up Petruchio, The Shrew (Gringe) Commander.
Seen here with the rest of Mags' Boys:

...by himself:

Until whenever.

He's like a sinister fantasy version of Goofy.  ;D

...he is indeed. The grin is what attracted me to the miniature. Thanks for the reply, Dinos!

The Faerie Dragon is coming along nicely. I have the base made & the painting has commenced:

Now that Monty The Shambler is done, Mags' Minions are complete. Only the photos with Herself & naming the Shrews is left:

The Gang sans Mags:

After having the Gang sitting waiting for paint , it is a tremendous feeling of release having them finally done.

Wow! Haven't seen something like Monty The Shambler before!
What a creature and your striking colors!
All the gang, well done!
Eagerly waiting to see the dragon painted! Cheers!

Thanks, Dinos. I am happy you like the stuff. The Dragon may take some time, but as soon as possible...or as soon as the colors come to me.
AND some Group & Individual Portraits with Mags Herself:

Petruchio & The Shrews:

Petruchio:

The Shrews:

Monty The Shambler:

That wraps it.
