Some lovely and vibrant bases. I recognize that Dragonfly figure but can't remember for the life of me where it's from.

Thanks, Thew1! I am glad you like the bases thus far.

Steam Snail is awesome, particularly in the Spooky Woods! The exhaust is a perfect angle.

I remember that pond dragon figure. i like the base a lot. Are you going to have to come up with another stage so that the water on his (or her?) base blends in?  lol Inquiring minds want to know!

Thanks, Mister Frau Blucher. I am happy you liked the Spooky Woods photos.
I do have a tendency to give my exhaust & chimney pipes jaunty angles...my telescopes as well.
I was thinking of doing photos of the Pond Dragon with the Witches' Isles or near the Goblin Shanty Town. The waters there are a bit too polluted though.

I got inspired to try a variation on a Pinterest Mushroom:

I did the dolly a couple days ago. Seen here between another new Mushroom & a Reaper Efreeti:

Last night & today I started the Green Stuff work:

It looks to have some potential.

He has a lot of potential, indeed! and he is cute!
And if painted according to the Pinterest picture, he'll be a hit, for sure!
Cheers!

Thanks for the kind replies, Guys. I am happy you both like him.

I am undecided on the colors thus far, although I do like the colors of the Pinterest Mushroom.
I am glad you see the potential in the piece, Dinos.

I like it, nice variation. That last pic makes him look very excited!

I can see the excitement, beefcake. The Green Stuff also makes him look like a personable Pickle.

By the way, I missed posting photos of a little Mushroom Duet that I painted up a few days ago:

I am not sure how I will base them; singlely or wit another Mushroom or two.

The Pinterest inspired Mushroom is a finished sculpt. Seen here with a Mushroom made from the left over Green Stuff:

Basing is next...probably.

The Pinterest chap smiles triumphantly!
The other mushroom's expression says all! He thinks: "I'm a leftover"  lol

Thanks, Dinos. I think you read the expressions perfectly...the Leftover Lad does not look happy at all.

Oooh I like this new style!!

Thanks, LordOdo! I am happy you like it. Expanding on this idea could lead to all sorts of interesting ideas.

Fantastic as always! I really like that new mushroom - with all those clusters and tubes, he's got an eerily fecund look!

Thanks for the reply, Hobgoblin. I am glad you like him/her/whatever.
I agree that the additional clusters & tube mushrooms add to the natural creepiness of the piece.

If there's one thing we'll never run out of, it's natural variations on mushrooms!  lol
