Played another game of Malifaux against my main Malifaux opponent last evening. No nagging this time around, I read up on the abilities of some of my faction units - thought I would give Mortimer the Gravedigger another shot, Bete Noir which has been a disappointment last time due to her untimely death and huge cost was also given another go after I had double checked some rules on the Wyrd Forum.
The encounter was 35 Soul Stone/crew, set in a Ghost Town with Heat Wave special event.
The Resurrectionists were out to claim some turf and scored points for having units in each quarter fo the table. The Arcanists were out for some lost treasure in the middle of the table. The encounter was VERY bloody and violent. With a few jawdropping moments.
You can read the entire battle report on my blog, as well as my thoughts on Arcanist and Resurrectionist lineup, as well as some closing thoughts on a few of my own units.

He has somewhat lost faith in his Arcanist crew and will go back to the Guild faction in our next encounter this weekend.
