I'm looking for 28mm mammals that were around in the pre/during/after ice age times. Cave man times.

I hope it helped a bit, thought that Copplestone castings also made a terror bird but I can't find it on their site?

Dragonblood Miniatures did a great 'SkullCracker Bird' but it may be hard to find since they went out of business.  It's currently out of stock at the CoolMiniOrNot Shop.  I believe most of the moulds have been bought up but I'm not sure they're all back in production yet.

He's also apparently a big brute, standing around 50mm in height.

I had thought DeeZee was as extinct as their subjects, good to know they're still around.

I have both their Smilodons, leaping and walking. Nice figures, a bit plain but well proportioned and no major issues. They've eaten a few adventurers in their day!

I have had some success converting plastic toy dinosaurs in the past and have recently found some plastic prehistoric mammals of a perfect size in K-Mart. If you were willing to compromise, they would probably paint up well enough. They included the sloth-like, armadillo-like and rhino-like mammals.
