My personal prussian Ironclad.
« on: February 14, 2011, 03:27:32 PM »
Hi all, lately I have much interest in the topic Victorian Science Fiction, and after seeing the post from Dr The Viking I began to make a tank.
As you can see in this first photo, the base is polystyrene balls, bought in a shop of fine arts for a few cents each.
Then, using strips of styrene, I added braces riveted, even I used real rivets for rear chimneys and canyons.
The periscope and the shields with logos I believe are the remains of the Grey Knights GW.

This last picture is so you can see the size, the figures are 15mm and 28mm.
My idea is to play with the rules When the navy Walked with 15mm miniatures.

Hope you like my invention, all reviews will be good!

PS: As I said at the beginning of the post, the idea is not mine, but taken from the following link:

Thanks for the idea Dr The Viking!  ;)

Very nice!  ;)

I like the improvements on the design. I'm contemplating a few mini versions my self.  :)

Nicely done!
I was just thinking to keep the crew from going  o_o perhaps a stabilizing tail with a wheel or something? Or just introduce some handwavium and mutter about clockwork gyroscopes.

Now what did I do with those craft balls? :D
