First unit assembled, greenstuffed and based. I'm just waiting for the grout on their bases to dry before undercoating.  The figures comprise Perry zouave bodies with all other parts from another manufacturer's plastic figures. That's all I'm saying for now  ;)

I'm planning on using half the zouaves in the box to make up two units of these troops. The rest of the box will be used unmodified to make more conventional troops.

Can't wait to see what you come up with, though I would wager they will fit in nicely with your VSF American army.

Once my French force is underway (which has to wait until I finish my Germans and Martians), I'm planning on slapping some GW Elf heads on some of those zouaves and having me some Martian sepoys.
