C&C on these two Zombie Hunters, please.

I could sure use some C&C on these two.  They're just not coming along right.

Sadie is too drab, needs some highlights, but I'm not sure how to do that on the jeans.

Kev's camo pants are a disaster!  The contrast between colors came out all wrong as did the density of splotches (though for once the shapes seem alright). 

Also, what can I do with the red sweatshirt?  Usually (in the USA, at least) emblems are on the front or across the shoulders, under the hood, if on the back.  I need some ideas, please!

Sadie looks fine to me - maybe a lighter blue, drybrushed along the length of the leg - its denim, so you can go as light as you want.

 

for Kev - I actually like the splotches - he could be a decorator    carry the splotches onto his red top as well!

I think you could make your flashlight look a bit brighter by doing a circular gradient from yellow to white in the center.  There is a really nice example of this in the "Post your pics of DWA I-Dalek paintjobs here" thread on the second page. It's the rusty Dalek eye lens closeups.

I'd go darker on the denim--maybe highlight with the base color you have there now.

I agree they look very good.

As to Sadie's denim jeans, depending on whether the color is supposed to be new dark jeans or the popular 'faded' look, I would either add some darker blue shadows or lighter blue highlights.

For the red sweatshirt, I think it looks fine, but if you wanted to push your skills, look for a sports team with red as a color and put their logo on the back. Or make up a logo and have some fun.

Also, as they are fighting the zombie Apocalypse, some dirt/mud on shoes/knees/elbows might make them look a tad more desperate.

I like what you've done and look forward to seeing some ARRs with them.

What's an ARR?

I'll give Sadie a blue/black wash and then re-highlight with this current color.  There's not much texture on the jeans so I'm having a hard time deciding where to lighten.  If you look on her front, there's a big spill from the wash on her holster strap, so I'll have to go fix that, too.

Her shoes get a stone/white treatment, too, for the laces, toes, stripe on the back and the sole.  Since I mess that up every time I figured I'd do that later.

I'll do that with the flashlight, too.  Good idea.

I'm still annoyed with Kev's camo.  There must be a better way to get better contrast.

Can anyone suggest some colors to replace the green and red?  Perhaps dark gray, or some chocolate-chip-spots?

You're being a bit hard on yourself imo. As for jeans, they fade most on the backside and knees, followed by the front of the thigh and edges of the pockets. Don't ask me the best way to depict this though.
