Wonderful ship.  Inspiration is a word that's used a lot, but this has inspired me.  For several years now I've been picking up this Black Pearl and its larger sister with the rocker bottom  at my local swap meet but beyond a little tinkering here and there I haven't really gotten to work on any of them.  Now I think I will!  One question:  the Griffons and scrolls on the stern, please tell me where the griffons came from and how did you make the scrolls assuming that they are scratch built.  Again, wonderful job.  Loved your website site as well.  Thanks. Thanks Richard, actually those Griffon bits include the scroll and are from the Games Workshop Empire Steam Tank kit. I was lucky enough to get the un used bits off a friend who used the kit in a conversion, if you build the actually model those specific bits are kind of key, so they'd be hard to find...they were perfect for this however. you can see the bits in use here on the front of the model
