Hi,
Can anyone recommend a good range of WW2 Russian figs in 28mm? I've got some Germans from Artizan and Black Tree design so something that can tie in with them.

Thanks in advance :)

I've compiled a list of ranges here, with pictures (two pages):

Best would be Black Tree, TAG, BAM and Crusader IMO.

I've only got TAG Soviets but they are very nice. Closer to 1/56 than normal 28mm though.

BTD would be your best option based on compatability :)

Have a look at the comparisons at Mainly 28s http://mainly28s.com to see what ranges there are, and how they match up...

Hi,

White Knight your site is excellent. Thanks for providing such a comprehensive list.  8)   Thanks to Olaf too and the other folks who have provided positive comment. :)

Like most collection we start on it does depend on your budget, if its a short or long term project. What size force you are looking at and for what rules too. Is your collection going to be based on early, middle or later WW2 period or maybe you are covering the entire period!  Also what you own like and dislikes are for figures.

You maybe also aware that Artizan are soon to release their Soviet range as well. This I'm sure will fit in well with the majority of other brands. 8)

Richard Ansell has commenced the first of the early war Soviets for BAM and BAM are also looking at a mid period of WW2 for their Soviets as well. 8)
Best wishes,
Helen

Yes, the Pulp and WWII showcases are my pet project. There are actually WWII showcases for all the involved nationalities (that there are 28mm minis for) and of course the Weird War II and fantasy WWII ones. The links are in my sig. :)
The WWII vehicle showcases are in need of updating though.
