That looks like a great idea, was that to help and encourage all the PCs to paint their own character?

Must be 25 years since I last played D&D.......

The club is multi-discipline with a lot of the juniors into Warhammer, so it was done to show visitors to the state scale model show here what the stages of painting a miniature are. I snuck it into the competition this year while she was not looking and she took a silver :)

Also The Baggage Train has the Acropolis Miniatures line at 90p a figure!!

but no pics of them - what are they like?

Third time's the charm mate. =) Irregular and Acropolis being added - though holy crap, they're shitty old sculpts! =D

Aliensurfer, there are some pics over at Lost Minis Wiki:

First spotted by The Dozing Dragon;

The old Asgard Jes Goodwin barbarians.....still excellent today and not bad at £1.75 each.

Just thought I would add CP Models to the list as we have a small but growing fantasy range & have just bought GEMs dwarven empire range, most human sized figures are priced at £1.50

OK some are shitty old sculps but a lot of them are very good and paint up well, they are also cheap and will not bust the bank. I am trying to get painted photos up but this takes time which I have little of. I do intend to add to the ranges and refresh others, again time :)

Baggage train are no worse than Irregular, which are ok. Stick them on the list you rascal. ;)

What's happened to Green Eyed Minis?

Green Eyed Minis removed from the list, seems they've gone belly up.
CP Models added - they bought Green Eyed's dwarves.
Baggage Train reneamed - they were listed as the range (Acropolis)

Kallistra added.
Rhoninstorm removed, apparently gone out of business but the Adams goblins are supposed to resurface with another manufacturer. More news at 11.

Reaper just announced their "Bones" line that looks promising and very reasonably priced:

I am extremely excited and enthusiastic about Dark Heaven Bones, but I doubt it will go on this list because of the metal requirement. B/

Here's a contribution I hadn't seen yet:

Molon Labe 28mm Fantasy (US) - Sgt. Major Miniatures has re-released the old Vendel line.  Humans, orcs, goblins, elves, dwarves, hillman, trolls and even a giant are available.  Most figures look to be about $1.50 each.

They can be found here: http://sgmm.biz/fantasy.html

Put us on your list please.
www.forlornhopegames.co.uk

Most 28mm metal infantry £1.28 each. Hobbits less, cavalry more ;-)

We sell a lot of the stuff that eM-4 do, in fact we are working closely with them to bring out the old Grenadier range and are even looking to expand those that could benefit from it ....

check out Project Termination http://www.facebook.com/ForlornHopeGames for concept drawing of 5 new robots.

Cheers
