Hello all, long time lurker recent joiner. I stumbled across this site when seeking pictures of African terrain and have been hooked ever since. So I thought the decent thing to do would be sign up.
I've recently been fighting in the Sudan but began with a small naval landing party in some colleagues Darkest Africa campaign.
I will post some game pictures in due course, in the meantime I'm delighted to come aboard.

I've only been painting and playing again for a couple of years after a long break. I played as a teenager but that was mainly RPGs. The only tabletop stuff with formations was a sort of medieval army against my brother's army of orcs.

In a somewhat similar vein of slightly off beat combinations I now play an alternate Victorian world which began with a campaign in Darkest Africa. Unfortunately Commodore Lyme-Pickle lost too many missions, his flag lieutenant was boiled alive, amongst other disasters.
An uprising in Southern Sudan has now led to the dispatch of a new expedition. A hastily assembled force from India, London and a new Naval landing party  are currently crossing the desert to bring relief to a besieged outpost.

I do have some photos, but am I right in thinking I need some kind of on-line photo account in order to then post them on here?
