Alice and Cheshire cat (Alice in Wonderland)
« on: March 25, 2011, 12:00:04 PM »
Another very cool Hasslefree miniature. I painted this one a few days ago, wish there were more Alice in Wonderland models on the Hasslefree site.

VERY NICELY painted & the base is, well, ACE.   ;)

A lovely figure this one.  I painted it as a present for my wife (who's a devoted Alice fan).

This is a pretty good version; i particularly like the freehand cards on the base.

Just small point - her dress should be yellow and the cheshire cat a sort of ginger-brown.

@Luddite, I'm not too well versed in Lewis Caroll so I just painted similar to the the animated Disney version :)

I like the "Alice" lettering. It looks like it wouldn't be out of place with '"Cooper" following it.
Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

Oh dear  :(

 lol lol

Lovely figure Anatoli, superbly painted and I agree the base is very original and beautifully done! I would have gone for the Disney look too as I've also not read the book  ::)

More Alice figures from Hasslefree would be very welcome - and that Alice Cooper suggestion has inspired me to try and do another Rock n Roll figure to add to my Slash :D

Briliant stuff. The base is tremendous too.  :D

One tiny point - maybe it's the angle of the light, but the white of her teeth seems to overlap onto her lips, making it look a little like she's got huge gnashers! That said, she's better than my painted version.  ;)

Another plea too for more Alice-type minis from Hasslefree (or anyone)!

Awesome work Luddite!  :)

It's certainly one of the best hasslefree minis in their range.
