...but could you clean it first maybe?

I assure you that the subsequent castings are free of any original parts :)

What did you do with the remains? A respectful burial or just binned them?

It's awesome, but I'll be very concerned when Zafarelli announces he's opened a funeral home.  :D

I guess the wargaming uses of lifesize human replicas are somewhat limited. And I really don't want to venture into the areas for the more adult uses of those. Especially not if they come from a funeral home...

White Knight, disposed him. There was not too much left for a real funeral. He was quite squishy to begin with, so I was happy he did not decompose too much during the demolding process :freak:

I'd think small animals with an exoskeleton like crabs and the like could be interesting subjects.

Small skeletons could work but have the problem that you'd have too many small bits to work with and assemble.

Ooooh! Those giant crabs in the 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea sequel [forget the title].

Fantastic idea, I'd love to have some of those

Would the tecnique work on large spiders? Large beatles could make very useful Bugs for starship Trooper style games.

Ahem. That's not mold material, these are part of the ... master model  The body was pretty much desecrated during the first demolding.

 :lipps:

Its still cool. :)

I originally intended to release it in time for Crisis (first Saturday in November), but I caught a terrible cold at Spiel '07, and I don't really want to spend too much time in my freezing workshop. For everyone interested, I'll bring a painted master to Antwerp.

I will probably take me till mid November, but then there will be scorpions aplenty for everyone

That is potentially the most disturbing thing I have ever seen! But the fig is brilliant, but almost too lifelike for me!

By the way, if I come across any dead giant bugs, I will send them your way!

You are, of course, aware that you have set yourself up for some serious intellectual property litigation once the deity who devised that scorpion gets wind of this?
Cool thing. A bit disturbing, somehow, can't put my finger on why, but defnitely a cool thing.
