Totally, after looking around on the Colonial Adventures forum I wanted to start an Arab army, and of course I'd have to start an English army to give them someone to attack.

RPG's are great. So there's your excuse. "I'm just painting up a few characters for the game!" Wife: "What?? You have 200 players???" "Well, um, you see, we kind of try to explore multiple possible personae so each of us has 30 different characters..." "Wife: "Soooo, you're playing a lion and 30 soldiers and 200 Arab warriors?" "Uh... yeah (?)" [puppy-eyed look!!!! Promise to buy her a pair of shoes. DON'T FORGET THE SHOES!!!]

She's actually pretty cool about the whole thing. I'm lucky enough to have married a gamer, we actually met at a game of D&D. I saw this on another forum and I think that it is sage advice. "If you can find a girl who will let you talk to her about miniature wargaming for more than five minutes, marry her!"
