(Nef 1/1200) something really not VSF...
« on: April 01, 2011, 11:57:35 PM »
...but it was meant to be that! so i thought that i have to post it here!

actually all started as a flying aeronef build, then i decided to try some technique with that, even if it doesn't fly!

More on my blog... well, not much more, but still some more photos! =)

I think it looks very good, it's beyond me how people can scratch build things that small and get it to look good :)

I'm also rather taken by it; having attempted such small items, I'm likewise impressed. The 'railings' are especially well done.

Highest compliment I can think of: are  you planning to cast this beauty?

thanks mates!

actually it was meant as an "exercize in style" for getting pratice about the plasticard nefs... in the future i want to make my own fleet!

for the railings: it is just a piece of mosquito net! :)

for the casting: no, it was just a test, full of mistakes and not really cool. but i will make my own fleet, and i will need lots of resin parts. So i probably don't sell the full kit, but if someone will be interested in some pieces (to be completed with modelling work)... why not? :)

I figured either that, or really fine cross-stitch fabric. ;->= It is still nicely done.

Might have sounded too critical if I pointed out some 'flaws', but the basic work is too good not to be interested. Alas, the post 'twixt our two lands is too abysmal for words. Hull and basic superstructure, though, that would be worth the travail. Don't be so modest.  :D

Dystopian Wars may be heating up in our store, and that would be a nice 'mystery ship.'

I'm pushing 60 years old. Half the time *I* don't know what I'm saying...

Don't worry about your understanding; however...

Me likely. You cast, I buy, chop chop.

some little news by the way: little enough to avoid me to make a new post on the blog... i will add them in the next VSF post!

so... all the photos here!

quite radomic made... fast to build and quite charateristic. nothing really cool, just for fun.
for the scale, since i use as reference the 2mm, it is quite a big plane. chuncky, i know.
