WWII Colours - A Little More Help Needed
« on: October 08, 2007, 01:53:39 PM »
I have now got my Valejo paints  ( I got the German Cammo Set) with Fieldgrau in it.

If I want to use the 3 stage method do I just mix it with black for shade then use Field grau for colour
and mix it with white to do highlights.

I know I should just experiment but would like some advice.

Have looked on Colour chart supplied and can't see ready made shade and highlight colours.

Thanks

Dodge

On the picture, the long coats are painted with Vallejo Feldgrau. I mixed  Vallejo Feldgrau and (vallejo) german (panzer) grey for the dark colour, and Felgrau with a medium grey ( GW Codex grey or Vallejo Cold Grey) for the highlight colour.

Hope it helps.
