The first of my long overdue crew for some piratical fun.

I started painting these in december, only managed to get the bases finished today

Not my best painting by any means, and I need to get a few more completed for a forthcoming campaign.

Fortunately I have this week off work to crack on with them amongst other things...

Nice. You know I have painted nos 2 and 4 in exactly the same colour scheme... They just look like bluejackets don't they?

Excellent ... oudles of character. I particularly like the chap with the tache as he has a certain 'air' about him.

Lovely work sir! I like the way you've used a limited palate. Most pictures you see of real pirates tend to show them mostly in white and dull shades, usually with only the odd bit of colour. Very effective base work too

I take it you are saving the captain till last?
