Wonderful shield painting skills on show. Please talk us through the conversion on the right, if you have a mind to, Dr Mathias.

I have to go with the sylvanesti, both are great paintjobs so for me it bottles down on the theme

Monolith. A bit difficult to get hold of due to the company's erratic customer service.

Toughest choice of this round. I like both very much. Those elves, are they from Mirliton? Grenadiers old Copplestone range?

Really great scene Rapscallion, I voted for your entry  :)

Please talk us through the conversion on the right, if you have a mind to, Dr Mathias.

I used a Masai that would be easier than the others to fit into that position. There is a headswap involved but the lion headress makes it easy to integrate with the body. The gesturing arm was removed and pinned, with a bit of greenstuff. It's really not that extravagant- because the other Masai are so monotonous it seems more complicated than it is.

Having seen your Mirambo and Ruga-Ruga conversions, I know it would be easy for you replicate.

Wow! Two fantastic entries indeed. Well done to both of you!

The Masai are really nice, the shields are very striking and I like how you've built the mud huts, good work! My favourite entry for this match though has to be the shrine in the woods. Those models are fantastic, with great painting and scenery, and I like how you've wrinkled the grass mat to disguise the bases without digitally altering the picture. Excellence all-round!~

Thanks, Dr. M. Are the legs from some other figure, or have you repositioned the legs from the original Masai body?

That shrine really does make for a wonderfully atmospheric scene, doesn't it?

Thanks for your comments- great Masai too! The elves are all old Copplestone. I think the shrine model is great so decided to build a scene around it and try to try and add the atmosphere which I've managed to achieve to some degree- my photography seems to be getting better (it helps a lot by looking at the other entries over the weeks). This one is really a difficult decision! The first picture is brilliant and has a lot of atmosphere (like the dark forest in the back)…on the other hand, these Masai are fantastic!

I'm not sure what the voters were thinking on this one, I don't think my entry deserved the majority.

For what its worth, I thought you had a beautiful entry Rapscallion, good luck in your future rounds!
