Two nice entries, chaps. But the termies won me over, the flames, the painting and last but certainly not least the title of the entry, awesome!

They are the plastic SM from the last space hulk edition that is the original bases

Indeed, two very nice entries but those Terminators are fantastic! The slame effect, as said, looks really good! I also like the 'stealers in the background, and the background itself for that matter

Good luck Janner!! I really love that banner! I wish I could see more of it.

Thanks for the comments guys. The flame effect is simply a sponge kebab!! Its the yellow sponge you get for washing the dishes, ripped up and speared on to a bit of stiff wire. You paint it lighter nearer the weapon and inside, then highlight up from yellow to orange to red and then to black at the highest points. I also made flying missiles with smoke, but they got cropped out of the picture! My good lady was peeved when i used all of her cottenwool for the smoke only to leave it out of the picture!! Oops!!

S.I.- sorry but i can't take credit for the bases. They do, right enough, come that way!

Thanks for the best wishes - yes, the banner is handpainted, but by IT skills are not so good as to produce a montage that shows it as well as the minis.

Nice work both entries. Difficult decision because the entries are so differently.

Is the Genestealer Magus in the backround a original GW miniature?
