Blood Bowl Orc team test model
« on: May 09, 2011, 12:11:52 PM »
A test model for my upcoming Orc team which I got from my friend Calle a while back. Just recently decided to paint them up, and while I was at it I ordered a troll and a ogre from Black Scorpion Miniatures to complete both my Human and Orc team with a "big guy".

More pictures and rough some color descriptions on my blog:

I really like the purple and yellow striped shorts. I think it would be nice to extend that brightness to the top half of the model - it seems a little dark to me. Perhaps as accents on the armour?

VERY NICE...I really like your color choices especially the skin tone. The uniform is suitably snazzy...reminds me of the Steelers.

I have it on my PC, "Legendary edition", surprisingly good and a great way to learn most rules and how each team works.

Nice job, Anatoli. I like the pale skin tone!

The upper body could benefit from some more colour though, a contrast on the shoulder pads for instance.

Thanks guys, I the other shoulder pad will most likely remain black. The helmets however - at least on the linemen - will be either yellow or purple. Or both. This is the only heavily armored orc model. The rest of them run around in underwear and shoulderpads only.... (I will paint them as having tights down to the knees).
