Sons of Anarchy series 1-4! Now off to look for biker figures to paint! Any suggestions?

Copplestone Castings and and EM.4 make some very nice bikers, all scuplted by the demi-god Mark Copplestone. There is a set in Foundry's Street Violence which aint shit.

Went a bit silly and got the new Dredd movie, Kingdom of Heaven and Ironclad.

Have managed to watch Dredd, thought it was a blast, but not sure when I'll get chance to watch the other two.

Obelisk miniatures will add nicely to that group too

Kingdom of Heaven

Orlando Bloom out-acted by the anvil he was hammering.

What possessed Ridley to agree to that casting....?  :o

 lol

I saw "KoH" and almost jumped straight away without reading your post

However, i will see your Bloom epic and raise you Crow's Robin Hood - what a pile ...

I noticed today that The Postman is set in 2013!  Yet another movie deadline gone: 1984, Space 1999, 2001: ASO and 2010: ASO2...... :o :o

Today I picked up:
- the 2 Sherlock movies with Robert Downey Jr.
- season 1 of Ripper Street
- season 1 of Copper

Should provide some inspiration for Eotd/IHMN.  :D

Just a note to flag that my local Poundland is selling DVDs of the Chinese epic 'Red Cliff' (a special two-disc edition, no less).

Certainly inspiring and well-worth getting!

Dare I say "The Hobbit"?
Seen it three times in a row.  :D

My wife was always commenting "are you looking that again?" - "Yes, but Richard is playing Thorin." - [googly eyed] "Ohhh, Richard :-*!"  lol

I've just been wathing the first 90 min episode of "Unsere Mütter, unsere Väter" (which may have the name Generation War). Ever since Band of Brothers I've been waiting for a WWII production seen through the eyes of Germans and this may be it. I am very please, if it is at all possible to say so about this topic, with this TV series so far.

Yep, watched it last week. Some twists are unrealistic, but apart from those a very nice series.
