Zombie and Survivor
« on: May 13, 2011, 07:36:27 PM »
Painted up a zombie and a survivor by Studio Miniatures recently. The zed was a quickie (although not that quick!) and the survivor had a bit more work done to him. Both mounted on Fenris bases.

I'm amazed that so many people stumbled past this thread and didn't write anything!

I really like the skin colour on Not-Ash! :)
I was also intersted in the colours used for the shotgun stock. I never manage to get it right myself, and it frankly looks like shite.

Impressive!  A whole mob on those bases would be incredible.

All VGC. I used a base coat of Charred Brown and then added Beasty Brown streaks (which sounds awful now I've typed it  lol ) followed by the addition of Desert Yellow.

Very nice. The flesh tones and the shirt on not Ash are brilliant.
 Look forward to seeing more.

Both very nicely done!  :-*

I think that I tend to forget that Studio Miniatures does Survivors- When I think of them I always just think of Zeds...

Same here...  I think their Zeds are some of the best out there... but can't say the same for the survivors they make.

Though I did like the Walking Dead set they just recently released...  And the Wizard of Oz set was nice too! :D

Fantastic painting!  Can't wait to see more! :-*

Lovely work on both models!
Let me hear the battle cry
Calling on the wind
Let me see the banners fly
Before the storm begins
