Then he will be needing a Bowie knife and Harker will need a Kukri knife too ;) lol

He'll be perfect as Quincey. Of course, he should definitely have a Bowie knife! Should be fairly easy to add one to his left hand.

Likewise with your Harker model - should be easy to stick a Kukri in his left as well, should you feel the need.

Shame they've already been so well painted  ::)

Well, I thought that if I left such specific details out then these models would do in other non-Dracula scenarios too (this decision has nothing to do with my laziness, I can assure you!)!

Gluteus and Hombre: Here are some quick snaps of the Empress factory:

The plan is for my Gothic Horror board to comprise a run-down industrial area with small workshops and railway track et cetera and a large cemetery, all of which should fairly well cover a 4'x4' board.  I've just finished the graveyard (I'll hopefully post some images of this in the near future) and have to add some more to the industrial area, but I'm almost there!

Lovely work on the that factory, I really like all the small details, manhole cover, street lamps etc. :-*

Yes, it looks great! I might consider making an alternate slate roof, but nothing wrong with the original wriggly-tin version.
When I can afford it, I'll certainly get one - and the Mexican... err...Spanish church  :D

I look at the work you've done, see you claim to be lazy, and I just weep.

Okay, so in an attempt (attempt being the operative word here) to take more professional photos of my minis I've been playing around with the lighting/camera and Photobucket a bit and have come up with the pictures below.  I'm still not 100 per cent pleased with them - I had to brighten them, and they're rather too bright! - and will do some more tinkering over the next few days (a friend is also going to give me an old copy of Macromedia Fireworks, which will no doubt help things greatly!) to develop a formula with which I'm happy.  Any advice in the department would be much appreciated.  Anyway, on to the models:

This picture is actually unedited, other than being cropped and resized.  I think it looks much better than the above!  What do you think?

Also, who agrees that this model is based on Michael Caine's portrayal of Chief Inspector Abberline from 1988's Jack the Ripper?  I only realised it after painting and varnishing, otherwise I'd have done him blonde!

I think the painting looks smoother and more natural on him, especially the skin, but I like the brighter background on the others. Maybe you could try that snazzy blue background that some of the others use. Either way there's absolutely nothing wrong with either painting or pictures  :D

Fantastic. Those plaid coats look great.
Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

I have several gangs made up from TVAG, Brigade Games and Westwind and they all look fine together.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.
