The fighter with the teardrop shield and axe is the first miniature I ever bought way back in the late 70s early 80s.

You did a great job on him and whoever you painted these for is very lucky.

We should start a first mini bought thread, unless there is on already?

That was one of a box of 25 wizards I mailed by mistake and after mailing the correct miniatures and requesting the first box back I never heard from the individual again...     Some of those older miniatures still have more personality than some of the more technically well done figures today.

Those minis conjure up two sets of memories; when they first came out they were quite an advance for Fantasy minis; then in the early/mid '90s they were reintroduced to augment Reapers first releases. That aside...you did a SPLENDID job bringing them to life...I really like the Halfling. VERY WELL DONE!
