The fighter with the teardrop shield and axe is the first miniature I ever bought way back in the late 70s early 80s.

You did a great job on him and whoever you painted these for is very lucky.



We should start a first mini bought thread, unless there is on already?

That was one of a box of 25 wizards I mailed by mistake and after mailing the correct miniatures and requesting the first box back I never heard from the individual again...   :'(  Some of those older miniatures still have more personality than some of the more technically well done figures today.

Those minis conjure up two sets of memories; when they first came out they were quite an advance for Fantasy minis; then in the early/mid '90s they were reintroduced to augment Reapers first releases. That aside...you did a SPLENDID job bringing them to life...I really like the Halfling. VERY WELL DONE!
