The church is coming along great. You've done a great job using the Blotz kit as skeleton to build on. I have to build a church this summer for one of our campaign games so I will probably go the same route.

Well, stuff has been done...

First up, the church:
https://anevilgiraffe.blogspot.com/2020/04/church-finished.html?m=1

All done... pics using my phone which have come out quite well. Not sure how to get images hosted from the phone, so just the blog link I’m afraid.

There are a couple more things to follow, so bare with me, blog posts on the phone are slow going...

And some restless spirits: https://anevilgiraffe.blogspot.com/2020/04/phantasmagoria.html?m=1

(Ultimately) minor conversion work on the GW banshees sold as the Mortal Realms part work.

Superb. The church looks fantastic (in and out) and the locals excellent too.

Fantastic model of a church.  The wallpaper stones give a fantastic outer finish.

All excellent results and ideas. I will steal several of them when I get around to picking up my similarly themed project.

First up, the church:

It looks amazing, you can no longer tell it's one of those lasercut shells. How did you go about gluing on the wallpaper? (what glue, how was it applied)

Thanks all, lockdown has it’s plus side

How did you go about gluing on the wallpaper? (what glue, how was it applied)

I thickened the walls by adding layers of foampvc inside (2mm thick) and out (1mm thick) to give it some heft and allow the laser cut window trims to not stand so proud. I then scored the hell out of the foampvc in every direction to give a better surface grab. I work for an industrial adhesive supplier and their own brand PVA (Timbond) has a very high solid content. It was all glued and weighted flat before assembling, the key point is to seal the edges, make sure they didn’t get a chance to peel. The quoins are Wills railway bits I had kicking around (nicer than the mdf ones they supplied with the kit) and they were superglued. It’s all quite sturdy.
