It is certainly looking impressive.

The only thing that is bothering me is the colour  :-I  I know why you have chosen that colour keeping with the train colours of the period etc. but I don't know..I kinda would prefer...a different colour ???

Still great work though!! :D

Cheers
Fuzzy.
Crikey, sir. I'm looking forward to today. Up diddly up, down diddly
down, whoops, poop, twiddly dee - decent scrap with the fiendish Red
Baron - bit of a jolly old crash landing behind enemy lines - capture,
torture, escape, and then back home in time for tea and medals.

The colours were chosen to pay homage to the River Don Engine, now housed at Kelham Island Museum, Sheffield, South Yorkshire (where I grew up)

This was a 12000 HP steam engine used for rolling armour plate - appropriate to VSF, I think.

Obviously, I could have chosen any number of other colour schemes, but this felt absolutely, characteristically Victorian.

It didn't have legs, though...

My impression was the shade was perfect, but perhaps a bit light. You must forgive as, even in the image of the engine above, it's mostly in shadow, and the impression is of much darker. Now, the fact that it made perfect sense for a locomotive engine may mean that Fuzzy's hesitation towards it on a British military vehicle is quite understandable. ;->=

All of the above does not withstand the awesomeness of the project, the delight in the unusual look of form and color, the sheer terror afforded to any opponent's forces.

See? I quite go on when the first shock, AFTER A FEW WEEKS, wears off from each update. You MUST heap on more awesomeness to quell my verbal meanderings!  lol

Perhaps I should just hurry up and finish this one so I can build a grey one? Or blue?

Any preferences?

I know! I could do every rivet a different colour! Psychedelic, dude!

Or, not...

I certainly expected it to be painted like a steam train rather than camo but It must be the shade of green that is bothering me or the lighting in the photo has bleached out the colour.

Anyway it is an impressive build nonetheless and I look forward to its completion.

cheers
Fuzzy.

That's the way! I barely make comment.  lol

Yes, yes, we know. Certifiable. Cackle any louder, and you'll find your work hampered by a coat with wrap around sleeves...
