[WIP] Heroquest project in plaster.
« on: July 24, 2011, 10:12:13 AM »
Hello, long time ago I try to make me a heroquest board in wood with printed rooms but I dont like the result.
Searching in the web, I find the Hirst Molds site and buy a generic mold for make the floor boxes (40x40), this floor boxes are in plaster but I add chinesse ink for change the white color at differents greys.
In a little boxes add differents color inks for simulated special rooms.

PD: When I mixed the plaster with ink, add a little wood white glue for more resistant.

Here I put a little photo report during the process, I hope like you!

Thank you!!!! I add more photos when finish more rooms.  ;)

outstanding stuff mate. I've recently been doing the same thing for the D&D boardgame "Wrath of Ashardalon", all I needed was 2 hirst arts moulds and the variety of stuff which can be made is incredible.

Looking foreward to seeing yours all painted up.
