Excellent use parts and some very skilled scratchbuilding.
Looking forward to seeing it painted....

"I also added a long wedge of plasticard on the bottom running the length of the hull to widen the whole model."

Missed the import of this statement when I first looked. So, it's cut square much closer to the stern than I first realized. Brilliant!

Do you have particular plans for the underside at this point? Piccies? ;->=

:-* :-* :-* Awesome!
May I ask which nation's ensign flies at this fine vessel's masthead?

Most likely French.

Ah very nice indeed!

It looks like my British have a new opponent ;)

It will be interesting to see this ship go head to head with my HMES Hermes.

Gotta get another game of gaslight going soon

It would need heavier armament to go head to head with HMES Hermes :D
I'm getting this ready for the open day but I've been keen to get into a game of Gaslight. One day....

Well, I finaly got around to finishing my aeronef.

It is a Merle Class cutter of the French Air Fleet.
It held aloft with the patented Antigravatical Gyrometre (the upper node of which can be seen on the aft deck) and poweres by a steam driven double airscrew. The wings provide stability with stearing provided by a tilting/pivoting upper wing structure.
It is armed with improved Congrieve Rockets fore and twin scatter guns located on the aft deck.

So here it is:

Excellent indeed!

Bring on the next gaslight game. I trust you won't link up with Herr Tomas and his despicable Prussians!

Cheers

Fuzzy.
Crikey, sir. I'm looking forward to today. Up diddly up, down diddly
down, whoops, poop, twiddly dee - decent scrap with the fiendish Red
Baron - bit of a jolly old crash landing behind enemy lines - capture,
torture, escape, and then back home in time for tea and medals.

Join with the porcs prussiens.I will leave them to eat their saucisses de merde

I need to get some french forces together. I'm thinking either legionaires or Crimean War minis. I'm making some nice little steam-bots at the moment with a frenchified twist so they can be included too once they're cast (and some of my clockwork wasps for air support!).

Nicely done!  :-*

Love all the little details like the rockets and that gadget in front of the steering wheel.  :)
