Avengers Assemble
« on: August 06, 2011, 11:25:32 PM »
After slowly obtaining these (and searching for these) I finally got the basis of my Avengers Team

Using the fantastic KNIGHT MODELS, here they are.

Now, will I be able to finish them before the Avengers is in the theatres?

The race is one.

What size are they?

HUGE!

They are 1/27th scale, and the human sized figures are in the 65-70mm size.  Hulk, as he should, towers above the others.

These are certainly aimed (and priced) at the collectors market.  Took me forever to find an Ironman.  These are all limited runs and hard to find.

Given the prices they charge for these goodies, I'll have to draw the line!

The original Avengers Lineup is here, minus Antman and the Wasp.  Although for those two, I may just use some 28mm minis....

Pfah! Let's remember that Cap is a Johnny-come-lately who didn't happen along until issue #4...!  ;)

The original crew would see Wasp and Giant Man aka future Ant Man or Yellow Jacket or Goliath and about a million other names.  Pym was a mixed up cat.

Squirrel Girl for the win!  No really, she took down Doom and everything with her squirrel minions.  ;D
