I remember seeing a whole board a few years ago with floating island rocks and a small village on some of them linked together by rope bridges. If I remember correctly it was a fantastic concept, but not so well executed as what you've done here. Great work.

Floating rocks/islands are one of most favourite things in the whole world (well at least in my fantasy world). I have always wanted to build one for my minis. It is people like you, that make me envious that you ALREADY have one. Yours is one of the better ones that I have seen.

I especially like the fact that is anchored to something, and the roots are a really nice too.

Did I mention that the dimensions (relative to the mini) are just perfect. - Let me go back and have another good look at your work.

Fantastic! Very homely. I doubt the bloke up top will have any problems with unwanted monstrosities (unless it flies) or bandits and what not.
Loving how you managed to get the dirt part of the island to look its very nice if not realistic for a chunk of soil having been torn out of the ground at some stage!

Theoretically...yes. In days gone by, when a lot of piping was made of lead and the joins had to be welded giving off poisonous fumes which could cause brain damage. Also even drinking water that came from lead piping would cause "stupidity" etc.
One of the names for lead pisoning is Plumbism.
A pretty nasty way to die...
