Title says 25mm - but they are 1:72/20mm plastics:

But it's a mistake that is easy to make, because not everybody knows that XXmm usually refers to the height from the ground to an average man's eyes, not to the top of the mini- a convention probably issued, because wargaming figures often wear headgear of considerable sizes (helmets, shakos, etc), making 'top of the mini' a dubious measurement, and 'top of the head' a difficult one.

I had a gaming buddy, who for many years stubornly claimed our 1:72 naps to be '25mm figures', because most of them are actually 25mm to the top of the headgear.

And that being said, 1:72 is a delightful scale for large battle wargaming - just small enough to give the same advantages as 15mm, and SO much cheaper

unless until now, where the 25mm plastic is spreading: a little bigger, but with much more details!


What i dislike about the weak plastic of 20mm is the painting process: i don't enjoy painting them, the details are too little and too mixed... dunno

The figs are from Emhar / Imex and are a wee bit bigger than 20mm, the PSR review puts them at 24mm and some are even taller, taller than Zvezda figs, which seem to be at the top end of the tall 1/72nd range.

I write 25mm these days as it seems most of the plasic figs are around that height (zvezda particually)
