These look really nice. Probably a little bit too colourful for my taste, but that is just a personal thing. As regards to the actual painting, they look really lovely. The only issue I REALLY have, is all the tripping hazards on their bases. They just look a little large and dangerous.

Oh, then I approve. It is always nice to try  new stuff/colours/techniques. They are certainly not grim, so job well done.

Cheap is always good. Very, very cheap is even better. Maybe you can sand down some of really raised pipe/hose and keep the profile of the bases a little lower. I do like the textures, they just look "dangerous".

I really like 4 A Miniatures range, I have their pirates, and I think I will have to get a few of these as well. Nice painting and presentation, thanks for sharing.

I've met the Back-to-Base-ix guys in the past (they're based in Queensland, Australia), their bases are aimed at   40K and War/Hordes players, so they've gotta be super-chunky. That said, they're cheaper than GW and the checker-plate ones look fine on less ridiculously-proportioned figures.

I like them. Great painting, and you can never have too many "semi-civilian" figures for Scifi. Positive dearth thereof, I daresay, although it is much better than it used to be.

Ooo, wonderful. You've nailed the white spectacularly on that armoured fellow. The first one of the lot is my favorite methinks.
