Wedding in Ramnicûl
« on: September 14, 2011, 01:59:56 PM »
In the small town  Ramnicûl in Transsylvanien the town mayor was obliged to wed his maid because they already had four children together.

The monks from nearby St.Bullgerhardt hospital were not amused, as the town severely suffered from exit of it's citizens. Those feared the untreatable weakness that had come to town and made many people sick.

Finally, the prior gave in to the pressure of the mayor and arranged a wedding service at the towns little church.

But the monks didn't leave the chance to teach the four children a lesson how to behave better and more gaod pleasing than their parents.

As the bride and broom went to church together with their children, long time believed to be dead Mlad Ramnicul and mate Rudmilla came to congratulate the couple.

These two, clearly not human, arroused the monks even more. Especially Rudmilla was a thorn in the eyes of Gods men because of her nakedness...

...and her fondness of pigs.

The situation escalates, as the monks did not accept the non humans to the wedding.
The children were ordered to drive the pigs away.

The towns workers hat to clean the market place of the waste the pigs had left being driven away.

Two beggars were given alms by the wealthy and the non humans. They were asked to leave the scene as they were not a proper part of the picture wanted for a wealthy wedding.

Just then the two clowns came to the scene and put on stage a play in which teh satirized the double standards in this town.

As the plays subject went to the mysterious illness, one of the beggars gave word...

... that he saw the worker Georg Krankl as he poisoned the towns well.

Krankl confessed as there was a witness.

Krankl went to jail, the monks made peace with the elves, all live happily thereafter. Humtidumm.

The monks are Foundry as well, I think.  Nice.  Those pigs don't look too healthy, do they?

Right, forgot about the monks.

The pigs were supposed to look like the old german pig race "Bentheimer Landschwein"

Lovely minis, a great paint job, immersive scenery, and a fun tale.

This is exactly what our hobby is about.

Thanks A LOT for sharing this, and I'm sure we all will wait to see some more of your work.

Best wishes.
I know you're too old to play with toy soldiers. So give them to me... NOW!

It sounds like a Shakespearean Comedy. The minis & scenery are BEAUTIFULLY DONE! I LOVE the storyline.
