I'm trying for the next episode this weekend. I'll have more info then.

Glad people enjoyed it.

This is good news, just keep em coming! :O)

I downloaded Chain Reaction 3 and its funny how much that game is like one that we have been working our self here at home, the whole reaction thing is something that have been missed. I have just started to glance at the rules, since I havent had the time to actually go through it, but we will do some test gaming tomorrow, just with a few miniatures.
So far I am actually rather impressed, and will propably dish out the money for at least two of their rules, and it turned out a friend had one of them and was willing to give his exemplar of Nuts! to me :D

I am looking forward to your updates and to get in to this game system!

Nice terrain, but it makes me wonder how much .22 ammo you go through?

Not as much as 9mm.  ;)

Glad people like the Bat Rep. I'm warming up to this latest iteration of the Reaction System rules and will be demoing them for my game group this Thurs eve.

Heya

We got so inspired by this thread, that I did as suggested, and downloaded the free Chain Reaction System, and then we have got Nuts! and All Things Zombie along with its expansion Haven. We will try to get the other guys to pay up for the rest of the expansions and 5150 :D
I am sure they will though, this is, indeed something I have been looking for, for a long time. Right up my alley!

Nice. Once you master the reaction system game flow, you'll love it.

My weekend plans went on hold. A friend's wife is dying of cancer, and my wife and I spent most of our time with them.

Condolences regarding your sick friend... cancer is... cancer.

In case it hasn't been mentioned... THW just put out their newest small skirmish SF rules, 5150: New Beginnings http://www.twohourwargames.com/51newbe.html... been semi-patiently waiting for this one... so I expect we'll be putting away Necromunda for a while.

Also, who makes the Phats figure? And that mutant-thing?
Thanks

Thanks.

Already ordered 5150:NB. Ed mentioned he'd like to see some scenarios and stats set in the Eshu International/Running Black universe, so there's another project in the queue.

The Mace-armed fighter and Phats are Reaper Chronoscope figs. Great for this kind of game.

Once you've had time to go through it, I'd love to hear your thoughs on the new addition.

I've got the old addition but didn't like it as much as ATZ.  I'd be interested in what other players think of the new 5150.

We did go ahead and got some of the rules systems, got All Things Zombie, Haven along with Nuts. This is absolutely looking so good that I will propably not be able to hold on to what I have and test the systems, but go on and order the ones we miss. I am hoping one of the other guys will pay for the 5150.

The more I read, and test out, the better this gets. Some small things that I dont like, but I will see how it flows with actuall gaming on a full table with miniatures. The small issues can allways be adjusted to fit my taste though I am sure. The game system is quite flexible in that matter I belive (so far).

I ran a simple game for a friend Thurs eve and we were hugely impressed by how smooth and intuitive it played. The Reaction Tests add a spice of very cool unpredictability to the game. Ratchets up the tension in interesting ways.

I lost both games horribly, BTW. Combination of Soft Body Armor and piss-poor dice rolling.  It was shameful.
