Some newly painted Old West
« on: September 29, 2011, 03:01:29 PM »
Hi all,

I'm updating my Old West collection and this is the start. Going for an Outlaw posse to start with, might branch out to Comancheros later. Using a mix of Foundry and Artizan, Black Scorpion are just a bit too large for me now. Heavily inspired by  Kevin Dalimore's colour choices and the pics on the Foundry website.

Also attached a pic of my first painted Blackfoot Indian, another posse i hope to use. I have to give a big recommendation for the new Foundry flesh paint pallets, very very nice. Picked up most of them and used Native American on the Blackfoot (of course)

Thanks for looking and hopefully more soon

Lovely stuff RJ, great muted colours and lovely skin tones, especially like the pattern round the hem of the ladies coat.

Love them, taking loads of imagery from this section of the forum due to currently playing red dead redemption and analysing Of Mice and Men in school.

Excellent brush work, you've done some beautiful miniatures justice. Congratulations!

Thanks a lot Guys :)

Really enjoyed working on them and looking forward to the next batch.

@Leetje: I use Foundry, P3 and GW paints mainly with a few Vallejo now and then.

I am fifty and still have not mastered painting a straight line. Those blankets are awesome. These minis are fantastic.
