A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://www.kingdomtitans.ca/us/

Splendid, splendid, splendid.

Nicely faded, but not too faded, colors which look like pre-industrial dyes.

What are they based for?

Regards,
MW

Very nice Phil.

I've tried dip, but cannot see the advantage over a wash.

I'd be interested to know what draws people to it...

Thanks for the positive comments chaps.

I have based them so that two bases together will be useable for Impetus, when I have enough I will also try Hail Caesar as basing does not seem to be an issue, I'm doing both sides so they will be based the same anyway.

I don't see any advantage apart from giving it a coat of varnish as well, I was given the tin so it seemed a pity not to try it out, but when it runs out I will probably go back to the 3 colour method.

Glad it's not just me - and the waiting for the varnish to dry can be a pain ...
