I can find the Pacific OOBs on the Great Escape site, but not the Africa ones.  Am I having some kind of brain fail again?

The Africa ones are actualy tested. If you want to try them, send a private message to one of the two authors on their official forum. ;)

They seem to be positioning themselves as the "BattleFront" or the "GW" of 28mm historicals.


except the difference being there not a pathetic excuse for a company like the above 2

I'll be interested in a WWII ruleset by warlord but only IF its the same quality of book as black powder, and IF the rules can match disposable heroes for detail and ease of use and only IF it covers as many forces and theaters as humanly possible

Interesting, Joroas.  Osprey has also gone into partnership with the Ambush Alley people here in the US to publish their rule systems.
