Your painting is improving, as you say, just tidy up the bases and maybe a wash or two over the metal to bring it out.

Could tell you'd moved away from foundation paints..I could make out the details!

(only messing, thinned paints help hugely)

Especially since figures usually look better in real life than on photos, but that style seems to lend itself well to photography. As you said, some touch-up remains to be done, but the overall look is great. Love the slightly brown-ish tinge to the red, very warm and saturated.

I usually use flesh colour to highlight red. No idea why.
