Brother against Brother: the wheatfield

Some pictures of our last game of Brother against Brother (forgot to take more pictures unfortunately...). The wheatfield in the north quickly became the focal point of the battle. With low stone walls on all sides it was a good defensive position. The southerners were first to take up positions there. Covered by their artillery they stood firm for the remainder of the battle. On the southern flank the Union troops had some succed in pushing the Rebs back, but they too came under heavy fire and pulled back (miniatures and scenery all by General-Lee).

The mat is the GW one indeed, really worth it's price imho.
