This is a period I am increasingly drawn to, so I shall look forward to following this thread.

Love the way you have put together the buildings and trees. I feel the urge to ~~steal~~ I mean borrow the idea.

I've managed to get all those generic pikemen on bottle tops finished now
Just the basing left

less than 4 weeks to go before moving house and we'll start packing soon so what should I do next
I think I'll tackle some Swiss pike 24 at a time and try and get them finished in time along with proper basing

to be fair you can see that many of them were almost complete as I tried to show in the original Jan 9 picture
Since then I painted 30 from scratch and did highlights and flesh etc on the other 90 so its not quite as productive as it looks

I've also done a fairly basic job on them, base colours, army painter washes then tried to pick out highlights with really the emphasis on the mass rather than individual effect

Me too and I make such a mess I find that the only answer is to do them in one job lot
