1/50 scale cars

Some very nice vehicles that would fit in very well with WWI, BoB, Pulp etc. Being 1/50 they should fit better than 1/43 with 28mm figures:

No idea where to get them from in the UK though  :(
They were all drawn to the Keep; the soldiers who brought death; the father and daughter fighting for life; the people who have always feared it; and the one man who knows its secret....

Nice!  I like the Lenin car the best!

Wish someone would do some normal American 1920s cars for Gangsters.  All you see are either the luxury or sport models.

Dominc, I think Blue Moon manufacturing have released some model cars to go along with their gangsters. I have not seen them so cannot comment on the quality.

A little more digging suggests that they may now be out of production  :(

Seems to be an old GDR manufacturer. The Austin-Putilov looks really great.

I thought the Dixie looks great.
Shame they aren't available now though.

A search for 'Espewe' (the co. which made the models) on ebay.de turned up 3 pages of cars and trucks, but none of the Russians, I'm afraid.

PS - Austria gives 2 pages, many in common with DE, but again no (Russian) joy - although there are a few more modern tanks and APCs in both sites.

Yup, the box only, for collectors, it seems. "to pack them in style".

Athearn will supposedly have their 1/50 Model A line out in time for Christmas. Better for Gangster games, but a Ford model A truck can show up anywhere.

Yesterday I've won a Putilov at ebay for about 30 Euros with P&P. I'll let you know what to expect. I'll also add some pics with some minis then.
TANK POLO? God, how our gardener hated that game!
